“I for years, I've taught them memoir, writing class through the Indiana Writing Center. And sort of most basic message I try to give the students is write what you love. Find something you love and write about it. And you know, because if you're writing, if you're forcing yourself to write about something, and it feels like work, well then, I hope it's a job and you get paid for it.
But if it's to create a work of art, to create literature, it should be an act of love.”
– Jeff Rasley
